STRATEGIC FOR ESIGHT IN PUBLIC POLICY

STRATEGIC FOR ESIGHT IN PUBLIC POLICY

The Executive Course on Strategic Foresight in Public Policy – Advanced Level is designed to address the gap in translating foresight insights into concrete policy decisions, implementations plans, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks. It is intended for senior policymakers, planners, and public sector leaders who already possess foundational exposure to foresight and wish to deepen their competencies in context-setting, systems thinking, horizon scanning, scenario development, and policy implementation. The course places strong emphasis on process rigor and practical application, ensuring that foresight outputs are actionable and decision-relevant.

The primary output of the course is an Actionable Policy Memo, which applies the concepts, methodologies, and analytical tools acquired throughout the program to a real public policy challenge. Upon successful completion, participants earn the equivalent of six (6) academic units applicable to a relevant master’s degree program, in accordance with DAP and GSPDM policies.
